Please join U.S. Green Building Council of the Central Plains’ Emerging Professionals Group and SEAKM Young Members Group for a joint event! We will be touring the Geiger Ready-Mix facility to learn more about type 1L cement, how Geiger is incorporating carbon cure into their mix designs, and overall production of concrete mixes. After the tour we will be hosting a joint happy hour at Stockyards Brewing Company (1600 Genessee St #100, Kansas City, MO)Please feel free to join the happy hour even if you can’t make it to the Geiger tour! 

USGBC aims to promote resilient, healthy, and sustainable building strategies across the AEC industry. SEAKM YMG aims to develop and foster relationships between young structural engineers as well as other professionals in the AEC industry.

As always, this opportunity is open to designers in architecture and related fields who are unlicensed or licensed less than 10 years and to structural engineers with less than 10 years of experience. This is a chance for you to connect in a relaxed atmosphere and meet with your peers. Some food will be provided by the SEAKM YMG, but additional food and refreshments are available for purchase! This event is free to attend. AIA membership or SEAKM membership are NOT required to attend but are encouraged.
